About

Author J. William Campbell spent his early years roaming the beaches and turnpikes of New Jersey when he wasn’t reading some book. He graduated with high honors from the U.S. Naval Academy and later earned a postgraduate degree from MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. He has flown search and rescue missions as a Naval aviator, explored the ocean depths with the finder of the Titanic, evacuated survivors of a major volcanic eruption in the Philippines, and done pioneering environmental research with satellite altimetry. He has also worked in high-tech, earning two U.S. Patents. He enjoys drawing from these diverse experiences to write stories in a variety of genres and settings. He loves the great outdoors and plays a mean guitar.
